Brian Tesler is an exceptional 11-year-old table tennis prodigy. With a deep passion for the sport, Brian had been playing Table Tennis since 2019 and quickly rose through the ranks with his exceptional talent and dedication.
On the Australian table tennis circuit, Brian is a force to be reckoned with. He holds the impressive title of being the number 2 player in Australia for the Under 11 category and the number 8 player for the Under 13 category. Brian plays Division 2 for Maccabi Table Tennis Victoria Pennant where he is against more experienced and superior opponents.
Brian’s list of accomplishments is remarkable for someone his age. In 2023, he proudly held the title of Under 11 Geelong Tournament Champion. He also secured runner-up positions in prestigious tournaments such as Croydon, Ballarat, Vic Open, and Bendigo. Additionally, he won a Bronze Medal in the State Championships, solidifying his position as one of the top young players in the country.
Brian’s success on the table tennis table is no accident. He devotes an incredible 25 hours per week to training, diligently working with his coach’s to refine his techniques and improve his game. Brian participates in every monthly tournament throughout the year, seeking to challenge himself against new opponents and learn from every match.
With such extraordinary talent and potential, Brian had his sights set on an impressive future in table tennis. He dreams of representing his country on the international stage at major sporting events. The Maccabiah Games are on the horizon and Brian aspired to participate in both the 2025 and 2029 editions. He has even greater dreams for 2028 where he is aiming to qualify for the Los Angeles Olympics and again in 2032 for the Brisbane Olympics.
Brian’s journey is an inspiring one, showcasing the power of passion, dedication, and hard work. With the right support and opportunities, he is determined to carve his path to becoming a renowned table tennis player, representing his country and community with pride. The world of table tennis eagerly watches this young talent as he works tirelessly to achieve greatness in the sport he loves.
